Subaio and Lunar join forces on subscription management
Two Danish fintech companies — Subaio, a white-label subscription management software developer, and Lunar, a challenger bank — have announced a partnership. The collaboration enables Lunar’s customers to manage and control their subscriptions directly within the Lunar mobile app.
Partnership overview
Lunar’s Chief Product Officer explained the motivation: “Our goal is to make sure that our users get more out of their money in our app.” The partnership addresses the growing subscription economy, which has expanded 100% annually over the past five years according to McKinsey research.
Subaio’s CEO, Thomas Laursen, noted this represents the company’s first fintech-to-fintech partnership, emphasizing the speed and innovation possible when two agile companies collaborate.

Service details
The subscription management feature became part of Lunar Premium, which also includes travel insurance, foreign transaction benefits, and multiple accounts.
Joachim Stroejer from Lunar observed: “Many people are surprised when they get the overall overview of the subscriptions that they have collected,” noting this helps customers assess whether subscriptions deliver expected value.
