Subaio secures investment and partnership with Nordea

Subaio has announced a significant investment and partnership agreement with Nordea, the Nordic region’s largest retail bank. This collaboration enables Nordea to integrate Subaio’s subscription management platform into its digital banking services.

Nordea’s Deputy Head of Personal Banking, Mads Skovlund, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We’re therefore pleased that we can now offer our customers a smart digital solution like Subaio.”

Key features

The subscription management tool provides Nordea customers with several capabilities:

  • Visibility: Instant overview of all recurring charges and subscription services
  • Notifications: Alerts when new charges are applied
  • Control: Ability to cancel subscriptions directly through the platform in seconds

Rollout timeline

Starting in September 2018, Danish Nordea customers gained access to the service. The solution was designed to eventually expand to Sweden, Norway, and Finland, ultimately serving 1.5 million customers across the Nordic region.

Subaio CEO Thomas K. Laursen stated the investment would “increase our strategic focus on the European market, scale our offers, and help banks to make their customers’ lives easier.”

Combined with existing partnerships, the Subaio solution was projected to serve over 10 million Nordic users in total.
