Subaio gives you control of your subscriptions. In a world where you can get everything from music and film to coffee capsules and even bicycles as a subscription, we need to give customers an overview of their recurring spending. We must give consumers back control of their own finances. This is what we do at Subaio. We’re on a mission of giving consumers a full overview of their subscriptions and making it just as easy to subscribe as it is to unsubscribe – with just a click of a button!
We’re looking for like minded souls that want to join us on this mission. We’re a well-funded fintech with over 20 employees growing fast and getting customers even faster. We’re already live with some of the biggest banks in the Nordics. We’re looking for a senior developer to join our rocket ship for the next phase, where we will expand our operations to partners outside of the Nordics.
As a senior developer you will have the responsibility of building the best subscription recognition engine in the world. We already have a best in class product, but as we expand into new markets and new products we need to stay ahead in the game. That’s where you come in! You love working with data – finding patterns, finding ways of filtering out the noise, and develop code that does all of this automatically and at scale.
In short, this is what you'll be doing
- Implement algorithms for large scale data analysis and processing
- Analyze data with SQL
- Automate internal processes for doing data enrichment
- Build up data quality insights
We expect that you have very strong data- and development skills. We’re looking for profiles that have deep knowledge and experience with Java or C# and SQL. We also expect that you have worked with algorithms and know how to apply such to real-world problems. The most important is however that you have the skills that go into implementing algorithms at scale, measuring the impact and constantly optimizing the process.
In short this is what we expect from you:
- Experience with Java or C#
- Advanced knowledge of SQL (analysis and programs)
- Advanced knowledge of algorithms and experience in applying them to real-world problems
- Good at using statistics
You like to evaluate findings using statistics and make both incremental and evolutionary changes.
Your education is not as important as your experience. You can come from a pure developer background, but data scientists or similar are also more than welcome to apply – as long as you have development experience. It is a huge plus if you have had experience with working within a startup and have the entrepreneurial mindset needed in a workday that will be filled with ambiguity. But most importantly you need to be ready to have fun. Because it’s going to be a rollercoaster where the aim is to build the world’s best subscription recognition engine ever!
