In a world where more and more goods and services can be purchased as a subscription and the average person has more subscriptions than can be counted on one (or two) hands, consumers crave actionable insights into their recurring expenses. Subaio gives consumers this control by delivering a white-label SaaS solution directly in a bank’s online or mobile ecosystem that provides personalized and detailed information aimed at the consumer.

At our core, we are a data company seeking to improve the financial health of consumers and we strive to provide simple solutions to complex financial questions. We’re a well-funded fintech with about 40 employees in Aalborg and Copenhagen, with high growth aspirations. Our customer list includes some of the most innovative banks in the Nordics and the rest of Europe!

As we prepare for an accelerated growth period in 2023 and beyond, we are seeking a Product Manager to lead the Subaio product vision and strategy for our subscription management products.

The Product Management Team

You’ll be joining our product team consisting of other Product Managers with strong expertise in different domains, which ensures that we build, grow, and develop our products based on insights and input from a 360 point of view.

What You’ll Do

We are a product company, and we need someone that has built products from the ground up. We implement structure and processes but need someone who can work on multiple projects at once. You will work hands-on in a busy, international workforce. You will get the chance to:

  • Lead the Subaio product vision and strategy

  • Define and own the product roadmap with input from the rest of the product team

  • Discover user needs through user research to understand what will solve the right pain points and bring differentiating value

  • Cut high-level roadmap topics down to meaningful releases and story maps

  • Participate in developer team sessions to drive the roadmap and answering all product-related questions

  • Prioritise features and issues that arise through new requests and incoming new business

  • Support development, partnership management, engineering and support teams in running projects, listening to new ideas and brainstorming together

What You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field

  • Experience in Product Management and building tech products

  • Solid interpersonal skills and energy in your engagement with engineers, stakeholders and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship

  • Focus on delivering user and commercial value rather than pushing out features

  • Product management methodologies such as design thinking, discovery and user research, data analysis, and prioritization

  • Solid communication skills to convey concepts through storytelling

  • Understanding of a split development cycle – ability to work in the now and to prepare for what comes next

  • A desire to take the lead and are not afraid to take initiatives

  • Fluent language skills in English

  • You can physically be at our office in Aalborg at least 2-3 days per week
